Breakfast – Kariwak Village Tobago

For me when visiting Tobago, having breakfast at Kariwak Village is a must! You have not been to Tobago on holidays if you haven’t done a few things. An Kariwak Village for breakfast is one of them at the very top of the list. Breakfast is served from 7.30 am till 10.30am and walk ins are welcomed and encouraged. So you don’t need to be staying at the hotel to enjoy a proper local breakfast which varies throughout the week.

My mothers birthday and International Women’s Day happened to collide on this visit. So I thought what better way than to treat her to breakfast. So that we did. The settings in Kariwak are stunning, relaxing and gives you all the good feels. It truly is a special  place tucked away neatly enveloped by the greenest of plants. We had the fried flying fish with homemade wholewheat toast, a selection of fruits and teas and coffees. I think it goes without saying that it was a truly delicious meal. An to put the cherry on the cake for lack of a better term. Were these little guys below,  the birds flew in from Blue Tanagers to the Kisskidee. They came for their share of the breakfast an it was truly a pleasure to share breakfast with them.
